Dragons in Iranian Mythology

Dragons are usually known as Chinese mythical creatures, but there were plenty of them in Iranian mythology.



The image of the Indo-Iranian dragon, VRTRA, has had a great impact on the mythology after it, even in the story of Zahhak and Fereydun.
